It's been a few years since I've been here. I'm sorry for leaving you all hanging for so long.
Three years ago I returned home from the amazing Food Allergy Bloggers Conference to find my daughter very ill with Type 1 Diabetes onset. Four weeks earlier she had a perfect wellness visit at the pediatrician, but we learned Type 1 Diabetes onset is often tricky, and for us it was life changing.
People often asked if I would write about our experience, or draw cartoons, but it has taken a long time for life to reach a new normal where creative projects seem possible. I'll talk more about that later, but for now, this is my slow return to something fun.
